Kamryn Stablein joins the University of Delaware as the Academic Advisor II for the Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences. Kamryn started her academic career as a Psychology major at the University of Delaware and moved on to complete her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Master’s in Higher Education, and her certification in Diversity Issues in Higher Education from Temple University. She has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience assisting students as a career counselor during her time at Temple. As an Academic Advisor, her role is to help students achieve their academic and personal goals. Kamryn is responsible for assisting students with course scheduling and academic planning, understanding degree audits, identifying graduation requirements, connecting them to campus resources, and much more. She is also available to guide students who are struggling academically and help them get back on track.
Kamryn recommends checking in with an advisor at least once per semester to ensure academic requirements are being met. Her advice to students is to not be afraid to ask questions.
