Faculty Advisors

When you have declared a Psychology or Neuroscience major, you will be assigned an advisor. You are assigned to a faculty advisor when you have earned 60 or more credits. When you have less than 60 credits, you will be assigned an advisor from the College of Arts and Sciences Undergraduate Academic Services.

Faculty advisors do NOT help you choose or register for classes, but they can discuss big picture questions and your career or graduate school plans. For questions about courses or registration, please visit our Advising Office in Wolf Hall 202.

Who is my advisor?

You can find your assigned faculty advisor’s name and email listed on UDSIS. You can find this under the “Degrees & Advisement” tile (example to the right) under the “Advisors” menu item. If you have multiple majors, you will see multiple advisors listed.

If you declare one of our majors after you have earned 60 or more credits, you will receive an email that indicates your assigned faculty advisor and you should visit the Advising Office in Wolf 202 for an in-person orientation meeting.

If you declare a minor, you will not be assigned an advisor, but you are welcome to come to the Advising Office for help.
